Wild Bounty Showdown is PG Soft’s western slot, built around one idea that
almost no other game copies: the free spins begin at an 8× multiplier, and that
multiplier doubles every spin that produces a win. Nothing has to be collected and
nothing has to be triggered a second time — win on the spin, and the number on screen doubles.

The rest of the specification is unusual too. PG Soft publishes a maximum RTP of
96.75%, a maximum win of 5,000× the bet, and a six-reel grid in which
the reels are different heights. Most pages that rank for this game are demo

Almost every six-reel slot uses the same number of rows on every reel. This one does not. Reels 1

How the free spins actually work

Collect three Scatter symbols to trigger the Free Spins Feature. What happens next
is the part worth understanding, because it is the opposite of how most multiplier slots behave.

In a typical slot the multiplier starts at 1× or 2× and climbs as you collect things. Here
every free spin starts at 8×. Then, in PG Soft’s own words, the win
multiplier is doubled when there are one or more winning symbols on the reels. So a spin that pays
moves 8× → 16×, a second win doubles it again, and the number compounds for as long as
the reels keep producing winning symbols.

Combined with tumbling wins, that is the whole engine of the game: a tumble sequence that keeps
paying is also a sequence that keeps doubling. It is also why the game plays the way it does —
long stretches in the base game where the 8× is not available at all, then a feature that can
resolve very quickly into a large number or fizzle out at 8×.

The base game carries Gold Framed Symbols, which PG Soft lists as the
game’s other named feature alongside the increasing multiplier.

What 5,000× means here

PG Soft publishes a maximum win for every game in its catalogue, and the figures vary far more than
the RTPs do. Across the studio’s better-known titles the returns sit in a tight band around
96.7–96.9%, while the caps run from 2,000× to 100,000×. Wild Bounty Showdown’s
5,000× puts it in the middle of the range, not at the top:

A higher cap is not a better game and a lower one is not a worse one — the cap describes the
shape of the distribution, not the average return. What the table does show is that the RTP is a poor
way to tell PG Soft titles apart, and the maximum win is a good one.

One more thing about that RTP figure: PG Soft labels it a maximum. Studios commonly build
the same game at more than one return setting and let the operator choose which to run, so the

PG Soft’s story puts you with Cass, an outlaw who robs other outlaws. She arrives in Crystal
Town, overhears a group in the local bar planning to split the gold bars they have hidden in a cellar
after a bank robbery, and follows them. The symbols follow the setting — sheriff stars,
revolvers, wanted posters and stacks of gold above the usual card ranks — and the game is
presented in English and Chinese.

download. The stepped grid actually helps on a small screen: the tall reels sit in the middle where
